John
We were blown away by the unparalleled hospitality of the staff who went above and beyond to fulfill our needs. The traditional breakfast and dinner, consisting of over 12 dishes, were scrumptious. The hotel facilities included an indoor and outdoor onsen boasting stunning views of the mountains. The hotel was conveniently located near the Fukuji Onsen @ HO40 bus stop.
Can't fault the hotel in any way.

John
Great staff and lovely traditional rooms. The onsen was a highlight - beautifully arranged and very relaxing. The food was delicious and included lots of dishes. The location was also fantastic, with easy access to nearby attractions.
While the traditional rooms were charming, they were a bit on the small side. the price was quite high compared to similar accommodations in the area.

The hot springs were nice and relaxing. the location was convenient with transportation nearby. the view was amazing from our balcony and we enjoyed the snow around for the Christmas season.
The meals were disappointing, especially considering the price tag. They were not worth it.

We had comfortable western-style beds and a clean private bathroom. the traditional Japanese dishes for breakfast and dinner were scrumptious with many different flavors. the hotel offers easy access to a bus stop where the Nohi bus stops and announces the next stops clearly in English. the Fukuji Onsen @ HO40 stop is the perfect spot to jump off and explore the stunning frozen waterfall and the serene surroundings.
The hotel was a bit expensive for the value, and some of the dishes were placed quickly, without proper explanation.
